- shortGapRule: Maximum gap is profile-, entity- and derivative-specific; it is not a universal frame count.
- longGapRule: Split the series or censor the feature; do not bridge a contact transition, track swap or flight with unconstrained interpolation.
- edgeRule: Discard/flag derivative margins created by windowed filters or finite differences.
- zeroRule: Missing values never become numeric zero.
